AT Nature Terhi is lifting the winter nets up.

We pick you up from Inari to our home in the remote village of Tirro, where the sleigh ride begins. Our glass roof sleigh is windproof and heated, so that you can enjoy a long safari in the shelter. Winter clothing is still needed, though. Our journey goes through an ancient boreal forest where we explore tracks of wildlife. Elks, capercaillies, hares, foxes and willow grouses are living in the woods and lakeshores.

Finally, the sleigh ride takes us to a beautiful lake nearby, where we learn the local way of winter net fishing under the ice cover. We enjoy campfire lunch and coffee/tea before we ride to a local farm with reindeer. On the farm, you learn about reindeer and get the chance to feed the reindeer yourself.

What’s included?

  • transfer from Inari village
  • glass roof sleigh ride
  • guided winter net fishing
  • campfire lunch and coffee/tea

Please note

Although our sleigh is heated, please get dressed by weather and wear warm shoes.
