Glass-roof Sleigh Ride and Traditional Winter Net Fishing

Glass-roof sleigh ride and traditional winter net fishing starts from Inari village, where we pick you up to our home next to the wilderness.

Then you enjoy a sleigh ride in a heated glass roof sleigh. Winter clothing is still needed, though. The journey goes along ancient boreal forests and mire. Finally, you reach the beautiful Lake Muddus, where you learn the local way of winter net fishing under the ice cover.

You also can try traditional ice fishing with line and rod. Before driving back to our home, you enjoy a barbecue lunch and coffee/tea on the frozen lake.

Please note

Although our sleigh is heated, please get dressed by weather and wear warm shoes.

The route we drive with sleigh can be slightly bumpy, so we move at a slow pace. The sleigh has padded seats and safety belts. However, if you are pregnant or have, e.g. back or hip problems, we recommend consulting your physician about your ability to participate in the activity.

Children must be accompanied by a parent.
