Birdwatching Package

Birdwatching package gives you the opportunity to observe local birds in privacy without any rush. We offer you advice on the best places for photography and birdwatching. In addition we give you information about the current birds around. You also get an evening snack made from local ingredients.

The ancient pine forest next to our property is a home for Siberian Jay, Siberian Tit and Pine Grosbeak. Also Capercaillie, Three Toed Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker live in the old pine forests nearby, while Willow Grouse forages on mire edges and brooksides. In May waders and waterfowl return back to our lake. 

Our one-of-a-kind log cabin has traditional wood burning sauna, water saving shower and faucet. There is a composting toilet in the bathroom as well. The living room has a small wood burning stove and large windows to the north/north-west which is ideal for observing birds and nature.

In the evening and in the morning before breakfast you can walk our forest paths or just observe and photograph the nature from the terrace of the cabin.

Please note

We always maintain an appropriate separation distance when observing wildlife. Please follow our instructions when walking and photographing on our property and habitats nearby.

Sauna is safe for a healthy person. If you have any doubts about your health, we recommend you to consult your physician before visiting our sauna. The bed room on a loft as well as sofa bed in a recreation room is open concept.

We highly recommend you bring your own camera and binoculars.

The main guiding language is English, Finnish or German.

Cancellation policy

If a cancellation is

• more than 42 days prior to the arrival, 30€ office cost will be charged
• 29-42 days prior to the arrival, 15% of the total amount is charged
• 28-0 days prior to the arrival, 100% of the total amount is charged
